My new favorite things
I can't believe that I have not shared this yet...seriously, thats how you know I have been busy, busy!
So, I have a new favorite toy...if you follow me on instagram then you already know where this is going...but I got an Instax camera for Christmas from my parents and seriously, its been so much fun!
So here is what you should know about the Fujifilm instax neo 90! Its a polaroid camera where you get instant gratification of a printed photo! So old school and so awesome! The film is not exactly cheap and its a lot of trial and error to get a good photo...but I have told myself that I am not going to take 2 photos of the same thing...if it doesn't come out its just the art of imperfection. I think that is what keeps it exciting! The more I use it the more I have been able to figure out the settings and while I am far from having it all figured out, its been so much fun to play around with!
But wait it gets better! I brought my instax with me to my grandparents house on Christmas morning and as I was showing my grandparents how far the polaroid concept has come my grandfather got a spark in his eye. He got excited and said he had an old polaroid down in the basement and wanted to give it to me. When he brought it up you would have thought that he gave me a puppy. I was so excited, this thing is so cool! It was his dad's and it is probably my favorite gift of all time. When I get some film for it I will let you know if it still works and if it does I will be so excited I am sure I will share it with you! Look at this baby...ahhh I love it so much!!
Lastly, When you have a camera that spits out photos its so easy to loose them. I think I have lost about 10 already, which is like $10...sad right! After I realized that these little prints were hard to keep up with I decided to buy a little album to carry with me. I got this guy from Urban Outfitters and it has helped me keep all my photos organized!
