Yes, of course! I love to capture your entire family in your newborn session. Any photos that we want with siblings we will try to do first, so they can be done and get messy if they want.

Yes, but only if you want it. I do not share the nakey babies on my blog, but if you want photos of your little one in the nude, we will make it happen.

Yes, whether its a tiger stuffy, or grandma's knitted blanket, we can make it happen. I just ask that any special item you want to be sure to get a photo with be laid out in advance so we can make a plan. Keep in mind the more you change baby the less corporative and sleepy they get.

Of course, I have learned that getting ahead of the game and prescheduling 6 month, and one year photos will eliminate stress and guarantee you make time for these special milestones to be documented. Let me know you are interested before your session and we can get it all set up.

Your session may come with $500 print credit. This can go towards our image bundles where you get a mounted print and a high res digital file, or you can order custom heirlooms through us! We will go over ordering your prints in the reveal session, but you can always print your digital files however you want.

I always bring a white fur blanket, a grey neutral swaddle, my camera and a flash, just in case! I will use what you have for swaddles and accessories, so be sure to pick out your favorites before I arrive so they are clean and ready.

I LOVE natural light and I love capturing your new babe and family in the natural light in your house!! We will be embracing your home’s natural light (open up those window blinds!), turning off the overhead lights and taking advantage of the natural brightness as much as possible (another reason why I like doing these sessions during the bright part of the day). I’ll pop you all next to windows as much as possible for those pics — we will take full advantage of the light coming into your house. Even on the cloudiest (and even rainiest too!) days, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how much the outside light comes in to give you the best possible pictures! I always bring my flash, so no worries!

I cannot emphasize enough the lifestyle nature of this session: it is super heavy on the candids and truly just capturing your new life at home with your newest family member! We will do lots and lots of candid pics to really get some genuine smiles and laughs and all of that with babe. You can see below why these are my favorite — they really capture all of the wonderful (and range of!!) emotions going on at this new stage of your life.

Typically between 1-2 hours. I know how precious that time is those first few weeks after babe has arrived so I don’t want to overtake that for your family, so I try and be quick and efficient in getting you all of the snaps you want. Providing me with a list of some shots you’d like to get definitely helps too! You can always email/message me ideas as well.
