Happy Thanksgiving {From Thailand}
As you read this I am going to bed about to wake up to Thanksgiving Day in Thailand. Obviously, its an American glorified day, but I think the spirit of Thanksgiving can be worldwide. Taking a moment in our busy crazy lives to pause and to think about what we are thankful keeps us humble and grateful. I think there is so much power in sharing what you are thankful for too, because when things are left unsaid they don't become as true to you.
So today this is what I am thankful for:
-I am thankful for my family who love and support me in everything I do. They never doubt me or call me crazy they just smile and help me make my dreams a reality!
-I am thankful for my community of friends who surround me everyday. I am a lucky girl who gets to work with some of the best people I know, my best friends share my office and my home and I am thankful for how they love and encourage me.
-I am thankful for my clients who like my work enough to share with their friends and come back year after year! I get to take pictures of some pretty great people and I am humbled by their kind words and encouragement!
-I am thankful for the Lord and how he has brought me to this season of life. Yes its crazy and overwhelming but I get to travel the world, work for a ministry I love and do photography. It still many times does not seem like a reality!
-I am also thankful for all that the Lord has been teaching me about myself and his character. Lately he has shown up in so many different ways in my life and proven his love and trustworthiness to me.
-I am thankful for other photographers who have chosen to help photographers like me grow and become better. For the ones who believe in me, encourage me and have taught me everything they know, I am forever thankful.
-Lastly, I am also thankful that I have the opportunity to be in Thailand right now. Continue to pray for the team and myself as we share the Good News with the children we meet at the schools! I can't wait to share with you this beautiful country when I return!
