B A L I
I went to Bali this week and thought I would share some of my favorite memories! This past week in Bali was one of the most fun vacations I have ever had. We did so much from hiking up a volcano for sunrise (hands down one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life), to feeding monkeys and walking around the rice terraces to lazy beach days and awesome sunsets. It was packed full with so much goodness.
When the group started to form to go to Bali I was a little nervous. It was a large group of girls most of which were the new teachers this year that I didn't really feel like I knew yet. But Im so thankful we all ended up going together and for the group of guys that had their plans fall through and decided to join in for some Bali adventures! You get to learn so much about people when you travel with them and this week I am thankful that I got to know these girls and explore Bali together. I wouldn't trade it for anything!
There is a lot of unknown and messiness in life and relationships but knowing that the foundation you place your feet on can carry you to places your never thought you would go with people you never thought you would be friends with. I learned how much I need people, and choosing to lean on people is not a sign of weakness its a glimpse into the kingdom.
This week in B A L I was a good one but its back to work tomorrow! Enjoy a little recap of my Bali Adventure!
A lovely dinner on the beach after our Flytographer photoshoot! We stayed up too late only to be woken up at 1am to hike up this volcano in the dark to watch the sunrise!
I would not have made it up the volcano without these two! Seriously, hardest thing I've ever done, but these two pulled me up! :)
A personal mountain top victory moment...though Im pretty sure coming down was even harder!
After the hike it was a visit to a Hot Spring and a foot massage!
A sunset dinner in Uluwatu to wrap up the longest day we had in Bali!
The Next day we hired a driver and went to Ubud for the day! We enjoyed wandering around the super cool area and visiting monkey forest and markets and rice terraces!
The monkey that turned on Jennifer...
We wandered around the Ubud Market and haggled our way to some great deals!
Then we ventured out to the rice terraces and it was so beautiful!
After our day in Ubud we made our way to Kuta for sunset and dinner with the guys!
