A Year Later
It's officially been a year since I left home in America and made Thailand my home!
A lot has changed in a year and a lot is still new. I have been having fun showing the new teachers around town for the past week and it blows my mind when I think about how it felt to be in their shoes last year. I was clueless and unsure and didn't know how to speak a lick of Thai. I didn't know how to get anywhere, I didn't have any friends and I had no idea what I was doing, all I knew was that I was following the Lord and he had called me here.
This year I know a little bit more Thai and I have friends both Thai and "farang". I know places to go and how to get there. But one thing still remains the same. I'm here because the of Jesus and I still have no idea what I'm doing! Life is one big adventure and this year already looks different but I'm excited about what it will hold!
Thank you for your prayers over the last year. For the encouraging texts and facetime dates. Thank you for your support even if it's just reading these boring updates! I'm so thankful for this past year and all that I have learned and how much the lord has shown me!
Today we started back to work and school starts in a week! Its a new chapter so stick with me there are many more adventures to be had this year and many more blog posts coming your way!
